Чргове оновлення для Hierarchical Category Filter, модуля для Joomla! 2.5.
В цій версії:
- додано сортування категорій в списку
- додано можливість підвантаження категорій через AJAX
- додано кешування
- невеличка оптимізація :)
Зауваження на рахунок кешування:
Якщо бажаєте увімкнути кешування, то щоб все коректно працювало, потрібно увімкнути кешування в загальних налаштуваннях Joomla! та вимкнути в налаштуваннях поточного модуля.
Добрий день! Корістуюсь вашим модулем, все взагалі супер, але є маленька проблемка. При використанні від 3х матеріалів, матеріал залазить на матеріал:

Great module! We want to use it for dealer selection, but I have one issue with this module:
For example categories:
- Europe
– Austria
– Belgium
On each subcategorie there is one article assigned to. When the user select the categorie Europe the articles of Austria and Belgium doesn’t show up (because the articles can only assigned to one categorie).
How can I fix this?
make menu item “Europe” and select there options, something like “Show subcategories” … or something like that

Hi I cant get this to work ! do you have any documentation .. it seems to be installed properly .. does it clash with the jQuery library maybe?
no need any advanced configuration, just install and use … if do not works then check the browser console if any error there

I have a question.
How is it possible to add a seperate css style to a filter menu.
Example: This is a filter menu:like:
http://www.quality-tuning.co.uk/ (see Quick Search (Cars)) …..
I can use the css: option:nth-child(1), option:nth-child(3) { background: #000;}
Than every 1st and 3rd item in every menu has a background.
I don’t want every filter menu that background.
The next menu while filtering i want it like for example the select_item_1595 the background:orange
How must the css be?

Can the Hierarchical Category Filter be embedded in a form in RSForms Pro to populate a dropdown field in a form created with RSForms for users to pick an item from that list as the selected item?
yes in theory ;)
but I not use RSForms so have no idea how..

think I wrong understand you first …
not sure whether you can style < option >, the browsers not allow this if I right remember, you can only < select > a very little styling, like in previous example …

try check the script for styling < select >, that do < option > to < li > automatically … I seen a couple, but not remember where
hmm … but not sure whether it will be compatible with module

very simple ;)
you just need a categories tree like:
- cat - cat - cat - cat - cat - cat - cat - catand so on …
then just install and enable current module ;)
