New version of the Add FullAjax plugin for Joomla! (2012.04.20).
Looks like it last version that support Joomla! 1.5. Almost updates here for Joomla! 2.5.
Not tested with Joomla! 1.7.

What in this version:

  • updated FullAJAX library to latest version
  • fixed couple bugs with HTML5 History API
  • fixed work in IE, with links that contain special chars
  • fixed display < title > with special chars
  • removed doSomethingAfterFAjxPagLoad() function
  • partial rewritten the animation code (only for Joomla! 2.5)
  • changed the logic of check the current active menu item (only for Joomla! 2.5)
  • several small changes, almost for Joomla! 2.5 :)

Attention! Removed doSomethingAfterFAjxPagLoad() function (but you can back it if want ;) ), instead use the ‘load’ event:

FLAX.Html.onall('load', function(options){
//some code
});

If you site work good with one of older version, think twice before update plugin ;)

    Hi,
    First of all, congratulations on the plugin, it is by far the best of its kind both in joomla and wordpress.

    Secondly, I would like to make a suggestion if you don’t mind.

    It would help alot to add an option in the administration area to always ignore links with a specified class name. This way, a user can add this class name to the links he doesn’t want to utilize ajax.

    What are your thoughts on this?

    Hey,

    First of all, I want to say thank you for your great work! Since I’m pretty new to building websites and any coding language I’m having a bit of a problem, hope you can help!

    I’m building a website for myself and a friend of mine. On the website we have a mp3 player that works great. Thing is, I would like it to keep playing uninterrupted while people are navigating the website. Now here is the thing, when I apply your FullAJAX, the player keeps playing even when navigating, but then another problem comes up. When switching menus, only articles change with it and modules of the other page don’t load!

    To explain it a bit more clear:
    On the homepage I’ve got articles 1 and 2, and module 1 and 2. On the next menu (let’s call it gallery) I’ve got article 3 and 4 and module 3 and 4. Now when I have fullAJAX activated, and I start at the homepage, everything is fine, but when I switch to gallery, article 3 and 4 load, but module 1 and 2 won’t change, so 3 and 4 don’t load.

    I hope you understand and can help me out!
    Like I said, I’m pretty new to all this so I you can explain it easy to understand.

    Thanks!

      you need to configure “update modules”, in the plugin configuration, but this can be not so simple and a loot depend from your template …
      please check the plugin description or “readme”
